Consumers Hungry for Deals

Discount stores such as The Dollar Store and Dollar General are still laughing at the recession. Do some consumers need to buy those pink paper plates? Probably not, but hey – they’re only a dollar. What a deal! Consumers these days are more conscience of how they spend their money than ever before. Although most have stayed brand loyal, many will just go with whatever is the cheapest. Sure- you don’t want to be known as the “cheap” guy, but think about offering a summer special, or join forces with another business to lure deal hungry customers to your doorstep.
